Fix Xbox App Won’t Let Choose A Drive To Install Game To Any Drive On Windows PC
Please perform the steps provided in this article to Fix Xbox App Not Showing Any Drive On “Choose a drive” screen when installing any game on Windows PC
Step 1) Restart Your PC
Sometimes, a simple Restart can fix the issue so restart your computer and try to install the game.
Step 2) Restore .GamingRoot File In The Drive
Missing of .GamingRoot File in the drive may be the reason of the error, go to the Recycle Bin and check if this file is present or not, if present, make a right click on the file and restore the file. If file is missing then download .GamingRoot File from the Google Drive link provided below and put .GamingRoot File in the drive where you are trying to install the game. Step 3) Repair/Reset Xbox App
Type in Xbox app in the Windows search box then make a right a click on Xbox App.
Click on App Setttings, scroll down and click on Repair.Once the repair is done, open the Xbox App and try to select the drive.
Still facing the issue then click on Reset . After the reset, try to open the Xbox App and install the game.
Still not working then restart your computer then open the Xbox App and try to install the game.
Step 4) Uninstall and reinstall Xbox app
Type in Xbox app in the Windows search box then make a right a click on Xbox App and click on Uninstall and restart your computer.
Then Open microsoft store. Type in Xbox App in the search box and install it. Now install the game.
