Troubleshooting Steps to Fix Warcraft 3: Reforged Crashing, Freezing, Errors and Connectivity Issue.

Check Minimum System Requirement to Play Warcraft 3: Reforged

Update Your Drivers

NVIDIA Users: GeForce Experience can be used to check and update the drivers automatically, visit the below link to auto-update or update it manually.

AMD Users: Visit the below link to autodetect or manually select your driver.

Closing Background Applications & Perform Clean boot

Press Windows + R to open the Run box, type in msconfig and click on OK.

Go to the Startup tab, click on open task manager, make a right-click on each program and click on disable.

On Windows 10 Press Windows + I to open Windows 10 settings, go to Privacy, scroll down on the left and find Background Apps under apps permissions, now click on the slider to turn off the background Apps.

Perform Clean boot

  • Press Windows + R to open the Run box, type in msconfig and click on OK or type in msconfig in the Windows search box and click on System Configuration.
  • Click the Services tab and check the box to Hide all Microsoft Services, then click the Disable All button.
  • Click on Apply and OK to save the changes and restart your PC.
  • Now try launching Warcraft 3: Reforged game again.

Laptop Users: Run Warcraft 3: Reforged on dedicated video card.

  • Open Nvidia Control Panel by making a right-click on the desktop
  • Select Manage 3D Settings and go to the Program Settings and select Warcraft 3: Reforged from the drop-down list (If you don’t see the game in the list click on Add and find the game in the list, you may also have to click on Browse and find the game)
  • After selecting the game, set preferred graphics processor to High-performance Nvidia processor and go below to find Power Management set it to Prefer Maximum Power.

Select High Performance on Windows Display

Steps provided below:

  1. Type Graphics Settings in the Windows search box and open Graphics Settings.
  2. Classic App should be selected by default. Click on Browse and select BlizzardBrowser. The default path is C:\ Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III Beta\x86_64\BlizzardBrowser\BlizzardBrowser.exe
  3. Now click on Options after it has been added and Select High-Performance option when it prompts the new window and click on Save.
  4. Restart the Battle Net desktop app.

Run Blizzard Battle.net desktop app and Warcraft 3: Reforged game as an Administrator

Right-click Warcraft 3: Reforged desktop shortcut, or find the game exe file in the INSTALLATION DIRECTORY.

Select Properties, click on the Compatibility tab and check the box at the bottom under settings where it says Run this Program as an administrator and Click Apply and OK.

  1. Close Blizzard processes from the task manager.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
  3. Go to the Processes tab.
  4. Select all Agent, Blizzard Battle.net desktop app, and game processes, and click on End Process.
  5. Go to the folder which contains the Battle.net directory.
  6. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run box.
  7. Type C:\ProgramData\ in the box and hit Enter.
  8. Delete the Battle.net folder.
  9. Run Battle.net and update the game to see if the issue persists.
  10. In case the issue still persists, restart your pc and try deleting the Battle.net folder once again.
  • Try these commands in command prompt windows.

Type “cmd” in the Windows search box and then make a right-click on Command Prompt to Run as an Administrator.

When the command prompt opens, type “ipconfig/flushdns” without inverted commas and press Enter.

Repeat the same process for the below commands.

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

Reboot your computer and connect to the Wi-Fi.

How to Fix Warcraft 3: Reforged Error BLZBNTBNA000001F4

We couldn’t load this page. Please try again. Error code: BLZBNTBNA000001F4. You receive this error when the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app’s internal web browser crashes.

Clicking the Reload button will refresh the browser and this should fix the error.

Fix Warcraft 3: Reforged Waiting on Another Installation or Update Issue

Kind of Issues:

  • Make a right-click on the Windows speaker icon > Troubleshoot Sound problems.
  • Make a right-click on the speaker icon on the bottom right of your screen > Open Sound Settings >  click on the Sound Control Panel > Go to the Playback tab> disable all the sound devices except the internal speaker or the speaker which you want to use.
  • Update the sound card driver.

Try updating the game. Launch Warcraft 3: Reforged Launcher which should provide you update prompt. After the update, blizzard.com credentials should allow you to access the game.
