Steps To Remove A Circle Appearing Around The Mouse Cursor On Pressing CTRL Key on Windows 10/11 computer.

In this article, we will learn how to remove a circle (of two types) which appears around the mouse cursor on pressing the CTRL Key on Windows 10/11 computer.

For The 1st Circle Type: 

In the Window search box, type in Mouse settings (for both Windows 10 and 11 users) then click on Mouse settings

For Windows 10 users, click on Additional mouse options on the right side and

For Windows 11 users, scroll down and you will find Additional mouse options on the bottom so

click on Additional mouse options. 

Now click on Pointer Options then uncheck the box which says  Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL Key.

Click on Apply then click on OK and check if the issue is resolved or not.

Solution For The 2nd Circle Type: 

If you have PowerToys Application installed in your system then you might see that kind of circle which appears around the mouse cursor.

In the Windows search box, type in PowerToys and open the PowerToys App.

Click on Mouse Utilities and turn off the option Enable Find My Mouse then press the CTRL Key
