Fix Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders Critical Error and Crashing

Add Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders Executable File to the Windows Security

Type in Windows Security in the Windows search box and click on it.

Here click on the + sign Add an Allowed app and choose  Browse all apps to add Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders executable file or the complete game folder from the installation directory.

You can also turn the Controlled folder access off while playing the game.

In case you have any other antivirus program (such as Avast, Comodo, etc), make sure to add Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders executable file to the allow list. You can also disable these antivirus programs while playing Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders.

Disable Xbox Game Bar

Windows 10 users, open Settings, go to Gaming and uncheck and disable Xbox Game Bar.

Add Data Execution Prevention Exception

To fix Exception Access Violation Error do the following:

  • Type Control Panel in the Windows search box and open Control panel.
  • Click on System and Security > System > Advanced system settings.
  • In the Advanced Settings tab, under Performance click on Settings.
  • Go to the Data Execution Prevention tab > Check Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select and then click Add.
  • Add the .exe file of the game > hit Apply and OK and launch the game.

Perform Clean boot for Smooth Performance

  • Press Windows + R to open Run box, type in msconfig in empty space and click on OK.
  • Go to the Services tab > check the box that says Hide all Microsoft Services, then click the Disable All.
  • Now click on Apply and hit OK and restart your computer.
  • Now launch Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders game.

Run Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders as an Administrator

Make a right-click Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders executable file in the game folder or on the game desktop shortcut. Select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab and check the box that says Run this Program as an administrator and hit Apply and OK.
