This Article Provides Steps To Fix msteams.exe- Bad Image Error C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MicrosoftTeams\zlib.dll Is Either Not Designed To Run On Windows Or It Contains An Error Error Status 0xc0000020 on Windows 11
Step 1) Repair/Reset Microsoft Teams
Type in Microsoft Teams In Windows Search box, make a right click on Microsoft Teams, click on App Settings, scroll down click on Repair and launch Teams, still receiving the error message then try Reset.
Step 2) Uninstall & Reinstall Microsoft Teams
Go to Start Menu/Settings/Apps/Find Microsoft Teams in the list/Click on the three dots/Uninstall, after the uninstall restart your PC click on chat icon on the taskbar, click on continue and login.
Step 3) Uninstall Microsoft Teams & Delete The Teams Folder
Uninstall Teams once again, press Windows + E to open File Explorer, now follow the Step 3 from the video provided at the top of this article to delete the Teams folder. Restart your PC and set up Teams again.
Step 4) Turn Off Start Up Programs/Disable Teams From Start-Up
Go to Start menu/Settings/Personalization/Start/Turn Off “Show recently added apps” and “Show recently opened items in Start Jump Lists and File Explorer “
Now make a right click on the Start Menu and click on Task Manager to open task manager, go to the Startup tab, find Microsoft Teams in the list, make a right click and click on Disable.
Step 5) Repair Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime
Go to Start Menu/Settings/Apps/Apps & Features/ find Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime/Click on three dots/Modify/Repair
Step 6) Uninstall & Reinstall Teams From The Link Provided Below
Follow the steps 3 from the video provided above, delete the Team folder, restart your PC and then reinstall the Teams from the link provided below:
