Try The Steps Provided In This Article To Fix Minecraft Login Error Code 0x87DD0005 We Couldn’t Sign You In To Xbox Live On Windows 11 or 10 PC.
Step 1) Login With Same Account On Xbox App & Microsoft Store
Open Xbox App, on the top right you’ll see your profile icon, click on it, sign out and click on sign in and login with the right account, now open Microsoft Store, click on the profile icon on the top right, sign out and sign again with same account. Make sure you are logged in with the same account on both the app.
Step 2) Logout of Microsoft store and Xbox app
This time logout from both Microsoft Store and Xbox App, do not login, now launch Minecraft launcher and then try to login to the launcher.
Step 3) Delete Xbl Login Credentials
Type in Credential Manager in Windows Search box to open Credential Manager, go to Windows Credentials, scroll down and find Xbl|DeviceKey or XblGrts|DeviceKey, you might both the entry or only one of them, click on it and then click on Remove, click on Yes to allow and restart your PC.
Step 4) Install Gaming Services and Xbox Identity Provider
Open the link provided below in a browser, click on Get, it will prompt you to open Microsoft store, click on Open Microsoft Store, now install Xbox Identity Provider.
Next step to uninstall and reinstall gaming services, type in PowerShell in Windows Search Box, make a right click on PowerShell and click on Run as administrators. Now paste the command provided below and Hit the Enter key.
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
On the same window run the command provided below, this will open Microsoft Store with option to install Gaming Services.

Once gaming sevices is installed, launch Minecraft Launcher and login.
Step 5) Start All These Services
Type in Services in Windows Search Box to open Services, one by one find all the services provided below in the list. make a double click on each service, set the Startup type to Automatic, click on Apply, click on Start if highlighted and then click on Ok.

Xbox Live Game Save
Xbox Live Networking Service
Gaming services
Windows Update
Microsoft install service
Step 6) Go to Email & Accounts
Follow the step 6 shown in the video provided at the top of the article.
Step 7) Repair/Reset Minecraft Launcher
Type in Minecraft Launcher in Windows Search Box, make a right click on Minecraft launcher, click on App Settings, scroll down, click on Repair, if not resolved try Reset.
Step 8) Uninstall & Reinstall Minecraft Launcher
Type in Minecraft Launcher in Windows search box, make a right click and click on Uninstall, now reinstall it from Microsoft Store or Xbox App.
Step 9) Uninstall All the Launchers
Uninstall all Minecraft Launcher that exist on your computer that are not official or unofficial, restart your computer. Download the original launcher from here:

Still not resolved then uninstall the launcher and install Windows 7/8 version of Minecraft launcher from Minecraft website.
