In case of laptop unplug the charger and remove the battery if applicable.
Now press and hold the power button down for approximately 15-20 seconds then plug in the power cable back to the desktop. Plug in the battery and charger back in case of laptop and start the system and launch DayZ. In case the issue still persists move on to the next step.

NVIDIA Users: GeForce Experience can be used to check and update the drivers automatically, visit the below link to auto update or update it manually.

Solution 7: Use Recommended Settings to Play DayZ
Please keep in mind that higher settings maximize the workload for the system hardware overall, even if your system exceeds the minimum system requirement for the game.
Opting for reduced graphical features in the game is recommended if you are experiencing an issue with performance and stability.
Solution 8: Repair Game From Steam
- Start your computer and launch Steam
- From the Library section, right-click on the DayZ game and select Properties from the menu.
- Select the LOCAL FILES tab and click on the Verify integrity of game files… button.
- Steam will verify the game’s files; this process may take several minutes.
- Once verified click Play game to finalize the installation and repair process.
Solution 9: Update Windows 10

Solution 10: Perform Clean Boot
Type in msconfig in Windows search box and click on System Configuration.
Click the Services tab and check the box to Hide all Microsoft Services, then click the Disable All button.
Now click on the Startup tab, then click on Open Task Manager.
Click each of the Startup programs in the list then click the Disable button. Disable all.

In this way, it will run DayZ smoothly.
Solution 12: Do Not Overclock or Turbo Boost a Processor or GPU
In case you are opting for Overclocking or Turbo Boosting hardware in your computer, then we suggest resetting the processor or GPU to the manufacturer specifications, as doing so may prevent any crashing and freezing.
Also, disable Intel Turbo Booster from BIOS settings and in case you are not able to figure out contact your system manufacturer
Solution 13: Add Exception to Antivirus and Firewall/Disable Windows Firewall and Multiple Antivirus
In case you are facing DayZ loading or launching issue then it might be antivirus or firewall which does not allow the game to load because it recognizes game files as potentially harmful and blocks it from running. Add exceptions for DayZ. Call your Antivirus company if you need help in adding an exception for DayZ.
Most of the time Antivirus causes your game to crash or freeze so if you have multiple security running on the system then disable all the antivirus except one or try switching to another antivirus if one particular antivirus is causing the issue.

BattlEye Installation Failed
Solution 1
Delete the BattlEye files in your DayZ directory.
Go to the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ\BattlEye
After deleting the files from BattlEye folder run Steam as Administrator and disable your firewall while it re-installs the files.
Solution 2
Press Windows + R on the keyboard and type in services.msc and hit ok
Find Battleye Service and make a right click on it and select Properties
Under the General tab put the Startup type to Disabled and click Apply
For Sharing IP Connection Issue follow the steps provided below
Solution 1
Make a right click on the DayZ game in Steam and select Properties
Select the General tab and click on set launch options
At the end of the launch options, put a space and write -port=52302
Set every client to use a different port.
By default, the game is set to use port 2302. The game also uses the ports 2 and 3 numbers higher than the designated port (ie. 2304 and 2305 if the designated port is 2302). So, make sure the numbers you use are at separated by at least 4. It is safest to use ports over 49151. I would suggest using 52302, 52312, 52322, 52332, 52342 etc. One client can keep using the default.
Solution 2
Enable UpnP on your router
Enable port forwarding on your router, and forward the chosen port for each computer to that computers IP
Restart your router
Update your router firmware, contact your ISP in case you need help
Get a new router
