Fix Bluetooth Not Working After Wake From Sleep on macOS Mojave
Overview: There are many Mac users who are facing Bluetooth connection issue on macOS Mojave. The Bluetooth does not work after waking from sleep and the user has to restart his Mac again and again which is very frustrating. Today we will troubleshoot the Bluetooth issue and will get it fixed. Troubleshooting applies to almost all Mac OS.
So, let’s start with the real user’s practical scenarios!
Scenario 1: Bluetooth not working after wake from sleep
I have the exact same problem as another user on the forum. My Bluetooth issues (on a 27″ 2015 iMac) seem to have started after upgrading to MacOS 11.14 Mojave and also replacing an old failed mac wired keyboard with a new Bluetooth apple extended keyboard. First, the Bluetooth magic mouse wouldn’t work after waking the computer from sleep. Then I realized the both of the Bluetooth devices (mouse and keyboard) weren’t working after waking from sleep. Had to dig out an old wired mouse to keep going. The Bluetooth devices would sometimes resume working after a while. Rebooting the computer also works, but is a pain. I’ve tried the suggestions to both delete the plist file and to reset the Bluetooth module … neither of those did anything to help. Any suggestions?

Scenario 2: Mac Bluetooth not working after sleep
My Mac Bluetooth will not work after mac wakes up from sleep, occasionally. Whenever I attempt to turn off the Bluetooth when this happens, the Bluetooth settings UI just freezes, until I restart the Mac. Once it’s restarted, everything works again. It’s so cumbersome to do restart every time just to fix this How to fix this? Is the Bluetooth module faulty? My Mac is MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017), Mojave OS 10.14.3 (18D109)
