Fix DOOM Eternal Low FPS

To fix low framerate issues with DOOM Eternal disable steam overlay and you can see a significant increase in FPS.

  • Open Steam Settings.
  • On the Settings page, select the In-Game tab in the left sidebar.

5: Users with a dual graphics card: It is also important to update your onboard graphics driver. Update Intel or Radeon RX Vega from the device manager, restart your PC and launch the game.

6: Also, run DOOM Eternal on dedicated graphics, launch Nvidia Control Panel by making a right-click on the desktop, Select Manage 3D Settings and go to the Program Settings and select DOOM Eternal from the drop-down list (If you don’t see the game in the list click on Add and find the game in the list, you may also have to click on Browse and find the game). Now how to calculate Windows 10 Virtual Memory: Initial size is one and a half (1.5) x the amount of total system memory. The maximum size is three (3) x the initial size. So, in this system we have 8 GB (1 GB = 1,024 MB x 8 = 8192 MB) of memory. The initial size would be 1.5 x 8192 = 12288 MB and the maximum size would be 3 x 12288= 36864 MB.

Now click on Set and hit OK. Restart your PC and launch DOOM Eternal.

  • Go to the Dashboard by pressing the PS button on the controller.
  • Select DOOM Eternal and hit Options.
  • Choose Close Application and press X.

  • On your controller, press and hold the PS.
  • Shut down PS4 using Turn Off PS4 and do not Enter Rest Mode.

Uninstall and Reinstall Doom Eternal
